Josh Dun was born Joshua William Dun on Jun 18, 1988, in Columbus, Ohio. Dun has two sisters named Ashley and Abigail and a brother. He was born to Laura Lee Dun (social worker) and William Earl “Bill” Dun (physical therapy assistant).
Career
- Before joining the music industry, Dun used to work at Guitar Center.
- Josh Dun ventured into the music industry in March 2010 after joining the American alternative rock band “House of Heroes” as a drummer.
- He temporarily replaced the band’s drummer Colin Rigsby who was on a break to spend time with his family.
- He worked on many tracks of the band’s album Suburba. He was also featured in the music video “God Save the Foolish Kings”.
