Tony Dow was born on 13th April 1945 and died on 27th July 2022. Dow was born in the Los Angeles Hollywood neighborhood. Tony was born to John Stevens Dow, a contractor and designer, and Miguel, a stuntwoman.

After some hiatus in acting and other ventures, Tony appeared in the remake of Leave it to Beaver in 1983 in the new show named “The New Leave It to Beaver.”

Dow played the role for six years till 1989 and even received a Former Child Star Lifetime Achievement Award awarded by Young Artist Foundation.

He then slowly ventured as a director in 1989 in the episode of “The New Lassie.” After the successful direction of the first episode, he then started directing other episodes such as Harry and the Hendersons, Coach, Get a Life, Babylon 5, Crusade, and the episodes of Star Trek 5.
